In particular, the financial support has gone a long way to help the Foundation achieve its goals. The Wheelchair Foundation, a Division of Behring Global Educational Foundation, a 501(C)3 Charitable Foundation, has a goal to provide a free wheelchair to every child, teen and adult worldwide who needs one but has no means to acquire one.
The Wheelchair Foundation is a longstanding supporter of the Wheelchair Foundation of Barbados Inc. and has been the main entity providing donations of wheelchairs.
